U.P. Trading and The Exclusive Moose sit side by side on Newberry Ave — connected inside by a doorway, so what looks like two storefronts from the sidewalk is really one easy stop once you're through the door.

U.P. Trading carries Yooper apparel, footwear, hats, kids' clothing, books, and gifts. Right next door, The Exclusive Moose fills its floor with American-made furniture, hand-finished home decor, jewelry, and Great Lakes gifts. Stop in for one and you've found both.

That's not a slogan we came up with for the website — it's painted right on our storefront glass. Every piece on the Exclusive Moose floor is chosen for craftsmanship you can feel: log furniture, hand-turned wood, and decor built to last, not shipped in by the container.

Furniture is sized and priced piece by piece, so we handle those by phone or in person — but everything smaller ships from the U.P. Trading side of the building.

Ask in store which maker built any piece on the floor — most of it is local.
